A Fishing Vacation to Ucluelet, and a Fixed Computer

Well its been a little while since I had time to BLOG, so I finally found time before my vacation starts. It's now 11:39 PM, and I have my alarm set for 4:55 am. The pursuit of both Fish and Photos requires and early start, especially when a 4 hour drive is involved. I'd also like to thank Boomers Victoria Computers Store for giving me a deal on a power supply and making this posting tonight possible.
For as long as I can remember at least every other year we have traveled to Ucluelet to fish the waters. Ucluelet is an International Fishing Destination for both Spring Salmon (Chinook Salmon), and Halibut. I can't count the number of Spring Salmon we have caught over the years, and probably around 18 - 20 Halibut in the 3 - 4 years we have been seriously fishing Halibut. Unfortunately being an international fishing destination a lot of bottom fish stocks have been hit hard ie Rock Fish, Ling Cod, Cabizon, and Halibut so your more likely to catch smaller fish then the more secluded fishing destinations.
When in Ucluelet we stay at the Island West Resort and Marina, which has been sold so the future is rather uncertain. So while we can we are getting in our last few trips. Below is one of my favorite photos from last year.

I will be in Ucluelet from the 17th, until the 20th, so I'll try to post about my Ucluelet trip by the 21st.
