A Gloomy Day in Cowichan Bay

Today we ventured up to Cowichan Bay to have brunch at the Oceanfront Grand Resort & Marina Restaurant. The food was great, although I restrained myself to just three servings, and a desert plate. But even better then the food was the view from a table through their tinted windows. I was also lucky that the staff at the Oceafront Grand Resort let me go out on the deck to take some photos. Hopefully I will have a Gallery up soon.

After brunch we went into Cowichan Bay to browse the tourist shops, however I ducked away to shoot photos from th wharf. Today presented a fun challenge as the clouds were so dark in one direction, and in the opposite direction were blue skys. However I was up to the challenge, with my camera set to manual and at ISO 100 off I went. By the end of the trip I had shot around 100 photos, what more can you ask for in a relaxing Sunday.
